Treasury has outlined a new raft of deregulation in an exposure draft for repeal legislation around taxation, superannuation and some shareholdings.
Treasury has released an exposure draft of the Treasury Legislation Amendment (Repeal Day) Bill 2014.
The exposure draft and draft explanatory memorandum cover proposed amendments relating to taxation, superannuation and shareholdings in certain financial sector companies.
The amendments are part of the government’s commitment to the deregulation agenda. The community’s views are sought on these amendments by Wednesday, September 17.
