Victorian auditor-general reveals personal grievance complaint

Victorian auditor-general John Doyle today revealed he was subject to a complaint regarding a “personal grievance matter” from a member of his staff. He issued the following media statement:

Statement from the Auditor-General

A personal grievance matter has been filed by one of my staff against me and is to be the subject of investigation by the appropriate authorities. I will be fully co-operating with the investigation, but will not be making any public comment while the proceedings are being undertaken.

In the meantime, my office will continue to undertake its important work, with a number of reports due to be tabled in the next few months.
