Leading government technology chiefs will speak at a Sydney conference in February, with readers of The Mandarin offered a $100 discount to attend.
The two-day event — Implementing an As-a-Service Model — will examine practical steps to transition towards a consumption-based ICT model at the Swissôtel Sydney on February 16-17. The program states:
“The government ICT procurement landscape is changing. Federal and state government agencies are in the process of self-evaluation, as the pressure to implement a cloud-first strategy increases. Before they can fully commit to an as-a-service transition, it is imperative to understand what steps need to be taken to ensure the journey is a success.”
Speakers include Australian government chief technology officer John Sheridan (pictured), Queensland Treasury CTO Chris Turnbull and Aaron Liu, CTO at the New South Wales Department of Justice.
Delegates can book before November 13 to save $500. Readers of the The Mandarin who quote our unique code — “CC*MANDARIN” — will receive a further $100 off the early bird rate.
