The newly created position of Director, ICT will be responsible for the strategic and operational ICT functions for the Department. Reporting to the Executive Director, Strategy, Science and Corporate Services, you will lead the four units within the ICT branch, namely Infrastructure, Cyber Security, Business Information Systems and Service Management.
As Director, Information Communication and Technology, you will ensure the delivery of a comprehensive range of high quality ICT services, including the provision of ICT strategic advice and planning, large-scale infrastructure support, application management and desktop support that is cost effective, customer focused, efficient and supports reliable delivery of business objectives.
You will instill a collaborative and constructive culture to achieve collective outcomes, will lead a diverse but cohesive ICT group, and will identify opportunities for improving service delivery and the implementation of change and continuous improvement. The role will have a focus on ensuring cyber security is addressed and managed.
Incident management, cyber security and investigations, infrastructure, systems, and applications will all be featured in your demonstratable experience, along with cross-agency/across-government collaboration and interaction. You will be a highly effective leader of people, vendors, suppliers, and strategic partners, and bring energy, dynamism, and a proactive mindset to the role.
