The Melbourne School of Government is an interdisciplinary School at the University of Melbourne. Our research examines the implications of economic, legal, social, political and cultural trends for the content and conduct of public policy and governance. We’re proud to offer education and research programs engaged with the world of practice that aim to improve political leadership, democracy and the design, development and impact of public policy and governance both nationally and internationally. MSoG is hosted by Melbourne Law School (MLS), Australia’s first all-graduate law faculty.
About the role:
The Melbourne School of Government is seeking a candidate who will thrive in a dynamic work environment and has a strong understanding of and experience working with government. Specific experience in the political sphere is highly desirable. The project officer will work with the Director to support the delivery of the School’s strategic initiatives as derived from Advancing Melbourne and the MSOG Strategic Plan. This will include working with key stakeholders from government, industry and the not-for-profit sector, implementing the School’s engagement strategy, planning and delivering projects and supporting continuous improvement across the School.
