The Smart City Expo, headquartered in Canada, is a global initiative taking place annually in Australia, Canada and Dubai, combines co-located conferences with state-of-the-art expo floors on the theme of Smart City and Internet-of-Things (IoT).
The Smart City Expo provides thousands of attendees with a combination of inspiring keynote speeches and the cutting-edge technologies that enable the move towards smart cities of the future. It will provide a platform where Government Officials, City Council Representatives, Chief Information Officers, urban administrators and researchers are able to brainstorm ideas about Smart Australian Cities of the future.
The international conferences will also be hosted at Toronto in October and Dubai in November.
The Smart Cities Expo’s Annual Australia Programme for 2018 will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre between 3rd and 4th of September.
The event is designed to close the knowledge gap to allow Local, State and Federal Government Departments and Agencies to collaborate, share knowledge and foster innovation.
The 2018 Australia Programme will entail a number of keynote speeches covering Smart City Vertical Applications such as Smart Grid, Smart Transportation, Smart Health, Industry 4.0, Cities 4.0, Smart City Data ISO Standards, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, Cloud Computing, Smart Building Management Systems, Smart Lighting, Enterprise IoT, Big Data Analytics and Smart Governance.
