Leading with strategic intelligence

A three-day leadership program consistent for EL1 and EL2 officers (and equivalents) that explores the role that strategic thinking and behaviour play in individual effectiveness.

The capacity to think, plan and act strategically is a core capability for public sector managers. Often this is an area that public-sector managers seeking advancement find they need to develop. The challenge is to gain the ability to move from the specifics of day to day public service operational service delivery and policy work to the much bigger picture overview required in the strategic dimension of our work. This wider ability to think, communicate and implement strategy is what we term Strategic Intelligence.

Including a 360○ feedback profile aligned to the Integrated Leadership System (ILS), a HBDI profile and a one-hour individual Executive Coaching session in the weeks after attendance, this program will be of significant benefit to those EL1 and EL2 public sector managers wishing both to strengthen their strategic thinking abilities and to develop more strategic behaviours in the workplace.
