Managing the complexities of a rapidly evolving cyber security landscape

Technology and digital solutions have long played a key role in driving the economy and society forward. As they become increasingly and intrinsically embedded into business operations and across key citizen service offerings, so has the levels of vulnerability increased from the evolving complexity and sophistication of cyber security threats.

Ensuring Australia’s digital success into the future will require bold cyber security leadership and continuous investments in new cyber security tools and technologies that can keep pace with evolving threat challenges. It also requires a commitment to improving cyber security skills, awareness and education to understand the central role its capabilities have in enabling a digitally secure Australia.

COVID-19 will undoubtedly have created ripples on available agency funding and resources for ICT initiatives. How far has this had an impact on cyber capability plans and how are they being managed?

Our panel of thought-provoking speakers will discuss, amongst others, the challenges their agencies have faced in managing the complexity of an ever expanding attack surface with resourcing constraints in an evolving cyber security landscape.

The panel discussion will be moderated by Intermedium’s Principal Analyst and ex-Senior Executive Service officer, Judy Hurditch, who has had an extensive public sector career at both the Federal and NSW level before founding Intermedium.

This webinar is free to attend and open exclusively to members of the Australian public sector workforce.

We will send you the 10 key takeaways of the panel discussion as learnings from the forum.
